Skillet Fried Corn
- 8 ears fresh corn, kernels cut off
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon bacon grease
- 4 garlic cloves, chopped
- salt and black pepper, to taste
- Heat a large skillet over high.
- Cook the corn in the butter and bacon grease for about 4 minutes, or until it begins to brown.
- Add the garlic and season heavily with salt and pepper.
- Cook for an additional minute or two.
