Sausage Pinwheels Recipe
- 1 pkg. biscuit mix or possibly your home biscuit dough
- 1 pound mild sausage (room temperature)
- Mix biscuit dough according to package directions or possibly your recipe.
- Roll out on floured area to approximately 1/4 inch thick.
- Spread sausage in thin layer on top of dough (pat sausage between hands for easier coverage), starting at one corner of dough roll up in a jelly roll.
- Chill for several hrs or possibly overnight.
- Slice in thin slices and bake at 350 degrees for 15 min or possibly till nicely browned and done.
- Also freezes well.
