Whole Wheat Pasta with Roasted Asparagus and Chicken Sausage

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F, with racks in upper and lower thirds.
  2. Set a large pot of salted water to boil.
  3. On a rimmed baking sheet, toss sausage, asparagus, red onion, Italian seasoning, and oil; season with salt and pepper.
  4. Roast until tender, 25 to 30 minutes, stirring vegetables every 10 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile, cook noodles until al dente.
  6. Drain pasta, and return to pot.
  7. Toss with meat mixture.
  8. Season with salt and pepper.
  9. Serve and enjoy!
