Cabbage Rolls
- 10 cabbage outer leaves
- 2 Tbsp. pickling spices
- 2 lb. hamburger meat
- 1/2 c. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 c. A.1. steak sauce
- 2 Tbsp. horseradish
- 1/4 c. red wine vinegar
- 2 cloves pressed garlic
- 1 medium yellow onion
- 1 c. white rice
- 2 (29 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1 c. water
- 1 (8 oz.) bag Cheddar cheese
- 1 strip bacon per roll
- 1 can beef or chicken stock
- salt and pepper for taste
- Place pickling spices in boiling water.
- Add cabbage leaves. Cook leaves until bright green, 10 to 15 minutes.
- Remove; set aside.
- Brown hamburger meat; drain fat.
- Add salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, A.1. steak sauce, red wine vinegar, horseradish, pressed garlic and minced onion, then mix ingredients.
