Quiche Lorraine
- pastry for 9-inch pie shell
- 6 slices center cut bacon
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 can drained, diced green chilies (4 oz. size)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. grated cheese
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1/8 tsp. red pepper
- 2 c. half and half
- Prepare the pastry in
- a
- 9-inch
- deep pie plate.
- Cook the bacon and onion in a skillet until the onion is tender and the bacon is done.
- Drain the bacon and cut into small pieces. Sprinkle the bacon and thetnion
- into the pastry shell.
- Top with the green chilies
- and
- cheese.
- Combine the beaten eggs, flour, red pepper, salt and
- half
- and
- half.
- Mix well.
- Pour into pastry shell.take at 375u0b0
- for 40 minutes or until set. Enjoy!
