Baked Apples

  1. Core apples, removing seeds and pulp to make 1-1/4-inch wide cavity.
  2. zest off strip around top of each apple.
  3. Mix chopped cookies, cinnamon and lemon peel.
  4. Spoon into apple cavities; press filling firmly into each cavity.
  5. Place apples in 13x9-inch baking dish.
  6. Dot tops of apples with margarine.
  7. Mix apple juice and lemon juice; drizzle over apples.
  8. Bake at 350F for 45 to 55 minutes or until apples are tender.
  9. Serve warm.
