Beef Tacos
- 1 pound Ground Beef
- 1/4 cups Onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove Garlic, Minced
- 1 Tablespoon Chili Powder
- 1 teaspoon Cumin
- 1/2 teaspoons Seasoned Salt
- Mexican Hot Sauce, To Taste
- 1 teaspoon Cornstarch Mixed With Below Amount Of Water
- 1/2 cups Water
- Taco Shells And Toppings Of Your Choice, For Serving
- Preheat a large skillet to medium heat.
- Add the beef, onion and garlic and heat for 5 minutes, breaking the meat up as you go.
- When the beef is about half cooked, add the chili powder, cumin, seasoned salt, and as much hot sauce as youd like.
- Stir the spices into the meat mixture.
- Allow the beef to finish cooking through, about 3 minutes more.
- Combine the cornstarch and water in a small bowl.
- Pour the cornstarch mixture into the beef and allow the mixture to bubble for 2 minutes, stirring to form a light sauce.
- If the liquid evaporates before youre ready to serve, add more water 2 tablespoons at a time.
- Taste the meat, and add more salt or hot sauce if youd like.
- Serve in taco shells, flour tortillas, with chips, or as part of a salad.
