Quick and Easy One-Pot Paella
- 1/3 cup Kraft Extra Virgin Olive Oil Tuscan Italian Dressing, divided
- 1/2 lb. (225 g) Italian sausage, casings removed
- 1/2 lb. (225 g) frozen uncooked cleaned large shrimp, thawed
- 1 can (19 fl oz/540 mL) chili-style diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 cup 25%-less-sodium chicken broth
- 1 tsp. ground turmeric
- 2 cups instant white rice, uncooked
- 1 cup frozen peas
- Heat 2 Tbsp.
- dressing in medium skillet on medium-high heat.
- Add sausage; cook 8 to 10 min.
- or until evenly browned, stirring occasionally to break sausage into smaller pieces.
- Stir in shrimp; cook 2 min.
- or until shrimp turn pink, stirring frequently.
- Add tomatoes, remaining dressing, broth and turmeric; stir.
- Bring to boil.
- Stir in rice and peas; cover.
- Return to boil; simmer 3 min.
- Remove from heat.
- Let stand 5 min.
