Peaches 'N Crumb Cake

  1. Combine 1/2 cup flour, sugar, salt and undissolved yeast.
  2. Add 2 tablespoons softened margarine and hot tap water to dry ingredients. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed of electric mixer, scraping bowl occasionally.
  3. Add egg and 1/2 cup flour. Beat on high speed for 2 minutes.
  4. Stir in 1/2 cup flour to make a stiff batter.
  5. Spread in greased 9-inch square pan.
