Basil Buttered Green Beans
- 2 cups fresh green beans, cut into 2-inch pieces
- 2 tbsp. onion, chopped
- 2 tbsp. celery, chopped
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tsp. butter buds
- butter, melted
- 1-1/2 tsp. fresh basil, minced
- 1/2 tsp. dry
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- In a saucepan, combine beans, onion, celery and water.
- Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until beans are tender.
- Drain.
- Add the butter, basil, salt and pepper; stir to coat.
- Serve immediately.
