Strawberry Jelly
- 1 pack Strawberries
- 5 grams Gelatin powder
- 1/2 Lemon
- 70 grams Sugar
- 200 ml Hot water
- Wash the strawberries and remove the green tops and halve.
- Wet the gelatin with 1 1/2 tablespoons of water (not included in the ingredient list) to soften.
- Squeeze the lemon.
- Add the halved strawberries in a small pot and coat with sugar.
- Let stand for 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes, when the enough liquid comes out from the strawberries, add lemon juice.
- Heat strawberries over medium heat, stirring with a wooden spatula.
- Stir well when the strawberries start to bubble.
- When they start to bubble for a second time, add hot water.
- Be careful not to overcook!
- Turn off the heat and add the softened gelatin.
- Stir to combine.
- Transfer the strawberry gelatin mixture to a bowl to prevent discoloring from overcooking.
- Chill the gelatin mixture, stirring occasionally, over ice packs or in ice bath.
- When the gelatin starts to coagulate, divide the gelatin into serving glasses and chill in the refrigerator.
- It looks nice when the strawberries are floating on top, but it's up to you.
