Sausage Stuffed Jalapeno Peppers

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Start by browning your sausage in a frying pan.
  3. I used hot sausage but you can use whatever type you like.
  4. While sausage is cooking, slice jalapeno peppers lengthwise.
  5. (They should look like mini canoes after slicing).
  6. Remove seeds and set aside.
  7. Once sausage is fully cooked, reduce heat to low and mix in cream cheese.
  8. When cream cheese is mixed evenly with the sausage, fill peppers with sausage/cheese filling.
  9. Place stuffed peppers on a baking sheet and sprinkle with bread crumbs.
  10. Bake for 25 minutes or until tops of peppers have browned.
  11. You can broil for the last few minutes if they arent browning.
  12. Allow a minute or two to cool and then serve.
  13. Makes 20 24.
