BAKER'S ONE BOWL GERMAN'S Sweet Chocolate Brownies

  1. Microwave chocolate and butter in large microwavable bowl on HIGH 1-1/2 minutes or until butter is melted.
  2. Stir until chocolate is completely melted.
  3. stir 1/2 cup of the brown sugar into chocolate until well blended.
  4. Mix in eggs.
  5. Stir in flour until well blended.
  6. Spread in greased 8-inch square baking pan.
  7. mix coconut, remaining 1/4 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup pecans in same bowl.
  8. Stir in milk until well blended.
  9. Spoon mixture evenly over brownie batter.
  10. bake at 350F (325F for glass baking dish) for 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out with fudgy crumbs.
  11. DO NOT OVERBAKE.
  12. Cool in pan.
  13. Cut into squares.
  14. Note: If omitting nuts, increase coconut to 2-2/3 cups (7 oz.
  15. pkg.)
