Atsuage Wraps

  1. If it's not too much trouble, please pour boiling water over the atsuage to drain the excess oil.
  2. Cut into 1 cm wide strips.
  3. Wrap with the pork.
  4. (I used thinly sliced pork loin this time.)
  5. Combine the ingredients.
  6. Saute in a heated frying pan.
  7. Since the fat comes out from the meat, you don't need to use oil.
  8. When the meat is cooked through, pour in the mixture, and simmer.
  9. Simmer over high heat while shaking the pan.
