Pie pops or bites

  1. Bring dough to room temperature, about 25 min
  2. Place some flour on a cutting board and unroll the dough.
  3. Cut any shape you want.
  4. I used cookie cutters.
  5. Place cut pieces on parchment paper on a cookie sheet.
  6. Place pop stick before putting the filling and press gently.
  7. This is optional if you want bites don't put the stick.
  8. Cut filling into smaller pieces (apples or cherries) to fit into the base of the pie pop.
  9. Do not put too much filling or it will come out when you put the top on.
  10. Cut out some more dough for the tops and then cut some design in the center or make little holes with a toothpick or knive.
  11. In order for the steam to come out while baking.
  12. Put egg whites on the base around filling and place tops as you go.
  13. This will make it stick better.
  14. You can also use water.
  15. Gently press down on the tops.
  16. Use a fork or a stick to press the edges toguether.
  17. Use egg whites on the tops to give it the golden color while baking.
  18. Bake for 9 to 10 minutes at 450.
