Pie pops or bites
- 1 box Pillsbury pie dough
- 1 can pie filling any flavor
- 1 large egg whites
- 1 packages pop sticks
- Bring dough to room temperature, about 25 min
- Place some flour on a cutting board and unroll the dough.
- Cut any shape you want.
- I used cookie cutters.
- Place cut pieces on parchment paper on a cookie sheet.
- Place pop stick before putting the filling and press gently.
- This is optional if you want bites don't put the stick.
- Cut filling into smaller pieces (apples or cherries) to fit into the base of the pie pop.
- Do not put too much filling or it will come out when you put the top on.
- Cut out some more dough for the tops and then cut some design in the center or make little holes with a toothpick or knive.
- In order for the steam to come out while baking.
- Put egg whites on the base around filling and place tops as you go.
- This will make it stick better.
- You can also use water.
- Gently press down on the tops.
- Use a fork or a stick to press the edges toguether.
- Use egg whites on the tops to give it the golden color while baking.
- Bake for 9 to 10 minutes at 450.
