Angel's Stuffed Mushrooms
- 1 lg. field mushroom
- 1 slice ripe tomato
- 1/4 tsp. finely chopped fresh Greek oregano
- 1/4 tsp. finely chopped fresh sage
- 1/4 cup grated tasty cheese
- 1/2 tsp. Balsamic vinegar
- Wipe mushroom caps clean with a cloth.
- Do not peel.
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees C/350 degrees F. Place mushrooms onto an oven pan.
- Cap side down.
- Sprinkle with the mixed chopped herbs, then top with some of the grated cheese and a light sprinkle of Balsamic vinegar.
- Add a slice of tomato, finally top off with the remaining cheese and a light sprinkling salt and pepper.
- Place in preheated oven until mushrooms are tender when tested with a skewer (about 30 minutes).
