Comfort Casserole
- 34-1 lb lean ground beef
- 3 cups egg noodles
- 1 (10 ounce) can cream of tomato soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup canned corn (drained)
- 13 cup chopped onion
- 1 dash salt
- 1 dash black pepper
- 1 pinch garlic powder
- 1 pinch dried parsley
- 1 pinch dried basil
- 1 pinch dried oregano
- Brown the ground beef and onion.
- Drain.
- Meanwhile, cook the egg noodles as directed.
- Mix cooked beef/onion, noodles, soup, corn, and all spices/seasonings in a casserole dish.
- Add a little bit of milk or water if it seems too thick.
- Top with cheese.
- Bake, covered, at 350 for 20 minutes.
- Uncover, bake for another 10-15 minutes or until cheese bubbles and browns slightly.
