Pecan Bourbon Pie Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Combine flour, salt and sugar in bowl.
  3. Cut in shortening with a pastry blender, add in ice water, knead into a ball.
  4. Dust lightly in flour, wrap in waxed paper and refrigerate1 hour.
  5. Roll out dough into a 14 inch circle.
  6. Press into a 9 inch pie plate.
  7. Flute edges and bake 8 min.
  8. Don't poke holes in crust.
  9. Place a lightly buttered pie plate on top the crust to bake so pie crust will not bubble.
