Ensalada Con Carne(Mexican Salad With Meat)
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 Tbsp. beef flavored gravy mix
- 1 large tomato, cut into wedges
- 1 medium head lettuce, torn into bite sized pieces
- 1/2 large onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings
- 1/2 c. sliced ripe olives
- 4 oz. sharp natural Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 6 to 8 drops hot pepper sauce
- 1 tsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. green bell pepper, cut into strips
- 2 cans Three Bean Salad, drained and refrigerated
- 3/4 c. water
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. corn chips, coarsely crushed
- In a heavy skillet, brown ground beef.
- Add chopped onion, gravy mix and hot pepper sauce.
- Stir in 3/4 cup water.
