Pacific Flank Steak
- 34 cup olive oil
- 14 cup soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 12 teaspoons ground ginger
- 1 green onion, chopped
- 2 lbs flank steaks
- In a small bowl combine oil, soy sauce, honey, red wine vinegar, garlic, ginger, and green onion.
- Mix well.
- Place steak in a large plastic bag, pour marinade over and secure bag tightly.
- Allow meat to marinate in refrigerator for at least 5 hours, turning several times.
- Grill about 2" above "white hot" coals or under a broiler for 4-5 minutes on each side.
- To serve, slice thin strips diagonally across the grain of the meat.
