Spaghetti with Italian Sausage
- 4 tsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 1 medium yellow onion, chopped King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 4 LOUIS RICH Turkey Sausages, sliced and quartered
- 1 large green pepper, chopped
- 1 medium red pepper, chopped
- 2 cups reduced sodium spaghetti sauce
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. dried basil leaves
- 1 Tbsp. dried oregano leaves
- 20 large fresh s, sliced
- 4 oz. spaghetti, uncooked
- 2 16 fl oz bottles , favorite flavor
- Heat oil over medium-high heat.
- Add onion, sausage and peppers to pan; saute until peppers are soft.
- Add spaghetti sauce, parsley, basil and oregano; simmer 15 min., then add mushrooms and simmer 5 more min.
- Cook pasta according to package directions.
- Divide sauce into 4 equal servings.
- Serve over cooked pasta.
- Serve each person 8 fl oz CRYSTAL LIGHT with the meal.
