Chicken in sage onion turmeric sauce
- 3/4 cup grated onions
- 6 large chicken breasts skinless and boneless
- 1/4 tsp ground sage
- 1 tsp fresh ground pepper
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 3/4 lb pork belly
- 1/4 tsp ground sage
- 1 tsp granulated garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp ground turmeric powder
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tsp arrowroot powder
- Take the skin off the pork belly, save it for frying later.... or for fishing
- Preheat oven 400 Fahrenheit.
- Cut the pork belly into bite sized pieces.
- Add to a pan add sage.
- Slice the chicken in half if they are thick.
- Add 1 cup chicken broth, and onion boil for 5 minutes, and add the chicken breast.
- In a container add the 3/4 cup of chicken broth.
- Add the sage, garlic, salt, and turmeric, mix well.
- Bring to a boil covered cooking for 7 minutes.
- Add the seasoned broth.
- Add to the oven cook 35-40 minutes.
- Take out of the oven.
- Remove the chicken and boil the broth onions and pork belly.
- Mix the water and arrowroot powder.
- And add to broth it will thicken, keep stirring constantly.
- Add chicken back coating the chicken bring back to boil.
- Remove from heat let sit 5 minutes, serve.
