Maple Bacon Roasted Pecans
- 4 slices Thick Cut Bacon
- 1- 1/2 cup Raw Pecans
- 2- 1/2 Tablespoons Bacon Grease (from Cooked Bacon)
- 1 Tablespoon Pure Maple Syrup
- 1/4 teaspoons Ground Ginger
- 1/4 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
- Preheat oven to 375 F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
- Set the slices of bacon on the wire rack and bake for about 15 minutes or until crispy.
- Carefully pull the pan out of the oven.
- Reserve bacon grease that has dripped into the foil-lined pan.
- Set bacon aside.
- Leave the oven on.
- Put pecans into a medium-sized bowl and add 2 1/2 tablespoons of bacon grease, maple syrup, ginger and cinnamon.
- Toss to combine.
- Spread pecans in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes or until pecans are fragrant, stirring 1-2 times throughout.
- Remove the pan from the oven.
- Allow pecans to cool.
- Crumble the cooked bacon.
- When everything is cooled, mix bacon in with pecans and serve.
