Sharon's Best Rib-Eye Steaks
- 4 boneless beef rib eye steaks, 1 1/2-inch thick
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 2 large garlic cloves, minced (or1 Tblsp. garlic powder)
- 2 teaspoons dried thyme
- 2 teaspoons oregano
- 1 12 teaspoons black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
- 1 teaspoon cayenne
- Brush the steaks on both sides with oil.
- In a small bowl, mix the remaining ingredients and rub on both sides of the steaks.
- Place the steaks in a shallow glass dish, cover with plastic wrap, and marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
- Heat the grill.
- Grill over medium coals, 5-6 minutes on each side for medium rare.
- Transfer the steaks to a cutting board, let stand for 5 minutes, then thinly slice crosswise on an angle.
- Arrange on a warm serving platter and garnish with orange slices and parsley sprigs.
