Leek & Shiso Pork Wraps with Soy Sauce and Butter

  1. Slide the pork slightly as you align them on your workplace.
  2. Place shiso leaves and leek on top (as above).
  3. Sift flour lightly with a tea strainer.
  4. Wrap up tightly (press out any air).
  5. Heat a modest amount of vegetable oil in a pan.
  6. Roll the pork wrap around and cook until brown.
  7. Add sake and cover the pan.
  8. Steam-fry over low heat for 2 to 3 minutes (the leek will cook thoroughly).
  9. Mix the butter and soy sauce with the pork wrap to finish.
  10. Slice into bite-sizes and enjoy.
