Stir-fried Shirataki and Enoki Mushrooms

  1. Take out the shirataki from the packet and cut into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Slice the stem of the enoki mushroom and cut in half.
  3. Drain the shirataki from Step 1.
  4. Rub with salt, then rinse with water.
  5. *Make sure to drain the water well.
  6. Cook the shirataki from Step 3 in a pot.
  7. *Do not add oil.
  8. When the water is reduced, add vegetable oil.
  9. Add the enoki mushrooms from Step 2 and stir fry.
  10. Add the seasonings and continue to stir fry.
  11. Don't worry too much about the moisture that's left over.
  12. I tried adding the popular spicy sesame oil from Momoya after Step 6 and it tasted delicious.
  13. The crispiness of the garlic was gone, but it was still good.
