Family's Favorite Lemon Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Combine cake mix and jello into a bowl.
  3. Add water and oil and mix until combined.
  4. Add eggs and beat in one at a time.
  5. Pour into a greased 9x11 cake pan (I find a metal non stick pan works best).
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
  7. When done, punch holes all over the cake using a large fork.
  8. Don't worry if the cake starts to get torn up a little.
  9. It's not about looks, it's about taste.
  10. Mix together powdered sugar and lemon juice to make a glaze.
  11. I like a lot of glaze so I use about 1 cup of powdered sugar and enough juice to make it runny.
  12. Pour glaze all over cake and let rest for at least an hour.
