Simple15 Minute Stewed Pork Belly Using a Pressure Cooker
- 550 grams Sliced pork belly
- 1 tbsp Ginger (grated)
- 1 enough to submerge Water
- 200 ml Water
- 5 tbsp Soy sauce
- 5 tbsp Mirin
- 3 tbsp Sake
- 3 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1 Katakuriko slurry
- Add the pork meat and ginger to the pot, add water, and cover with a lid.
- Set the pressure to high, and turn on to a medium heat.
- After the pressure needle has risen and it has started to pressurize, pressure-cook for 10 minutes.
- Throw out the boiled broth from Step 1, and cut the meat into easy-to-eat portions.
- Add the cut pork and ingredients to the pressure cooker, and cover with a lid.
- Set the pressure to high, and turn it on over a medium heat.
- Pressure-cook for 5 minutes after the pressure needle has risen and it has pressurized.
- Add the water-dissolved katakuriko, and it is done.
