Warm Chocolate Date Cakes

  1. Butter six 3/4 c. custard cups.
  2. Sprinkle dates and nuts in bottom of cups, dividing evenly.
  3. In small saucepan, stir butter and chocolate over low heat until melted.
  4. Cool.
  5. Preheat oven to 375u0b0.
  6. With electric mixer beat eggs, egg yolks and sugar on high speed until light and fluffy, about 8-12 minutes.
  7. Beat in flour gently.
  8. Stir in chocolate mixture, liqueur and vanilla.
  9. Blend well.
  10. Pour batter into cups and place on baking sheet.
  11. Bake 12 minutes or until set around sides but soft in center.
  12. Cool 5 minutes.
  13. Run sharp knife around edges and invert onto platter. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.
  14. Serves 6.
