The Easiest Chocolate Cupcakes
- 1 Chocolate bar
- 45 grams Margarine (or butter)
- 25 grams Sugar
- 10 grams Cocoa powder
- 1 Egg
- 25 grams Cake flour
- 2 grams Baking powder
- 1 Powdered sugar to finish (if you like)
- Add cake flour and baking powder into a plastic bag, and shake.
- Place the margarine and broken chocolate pieces in a heatproof bowl, and microwave until the margarine has melted.
- Mix and melt the chocolate.
- Add the sugar and cocoa powder into the bowl, and mix well with a whisk.
- Break in the egg, and mix until the mixture becomes smooth.
- Add Step 1, and mix until the mixture is no longer floury.
- Fill the cups with the batter about 60% full, and bake in the oven preheated to 170C for 18 minutes.
- Insert a toothpick through the cupcakes and if it comes out clean, it's done.
