Greek Chicken Pita Party
- 1 pound Chicken Breasts Or Tenderloins
- 4 leaves Lettuce
- 4 slices Tomato
- 1 cup Greek Tzatziki Dip (Check My Recipe Box)
- 4 Tablespoons Feta Cheese
- 4 whole Pita Shells
- 1/2 cups Olive Oil
- 1/2 cups Red Or White Wine Vinegar
- 4 teaspoons Oregano
- 2 teaspoons Sugar
- 1 dash Salt And Pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon Feta Cheese
- 1 dash Cayenne Pepper
- For the marinade, mix olive oil, vinegar, oregano, sugar, salt and pepper, feta and cayenne.
- Marinate chicken in half of marinade.
- (Set the other half to the side.)
- Marinate for 1 hour.
- Grill chicken at 350-400 degrees F for 8-10 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
- Pour the other half of the marinade over the cooked chicken and let steep in for 1 minute before slicing to add to pitas.
- Assemble pitas: add chicken, lettuce, tomato, tzatziki dip, and feta cheese to the pita shells.
