Brad's chocolate bacon cakes w/ whiskey maple frosting

• 1 box of devils food cake mix prepared to manufacturers directions
• 1/4 cup cooked bacon crumbles
• 1 stick butter
• 1 8oz pkg cream cheese
• 2 cup powdered sugar
• 3 tbsp whiskey
• 1/2 tsp mapeline flavoring

1. Put bacon crumbles in a processor.
2. Pulse until chopped fine
3. Add to mixed cake batter.
4. Mix and bake to instructions
5. Cool cake and start frosting
6. Place all ingredients for frosting in a kitchenaide or other mixer
7. Mix until whipped and creamy
8. Frost cakes and dig in
