Strawberry-Banana Cream Dessert

  1. Add hot water to gelatin; stir until gelatin is completely dissolved.
  2. Refrigerate 2 hours or until slightly thickened.
  3. Pour gelatin into 20-qt.
  4. bowl of electric mixer fitted with wire whisk attachment (or into a 12-qt.
  5. bowl for trial recipe).
  6. Add whipped topping; beat on low speed just until blended.
  7. Fold in strawberries and bananas.
  8. Portion 1/2 cup of the fruit mixture into each of 64 dessert dishes (or 32 dishes for trial recipe).
  9. Refrigerate several hours or overnight until firm.
  10. Garnish each serving with a dollop of additional prepared DREAM WHIP Whipped Topping just before serving, if desired.
