Strawberry-Banana Cream Dessert
- 1 gal. hot water (140F to 160F)
- 1 pkg. JELL-O Brand Assorted Red Sugar Free Gelatin, Strawberry Flavor
- 1 gal. prepared DREAM WHIP Whipped Topping
- 1 qt. frozen sliced strawberries, thawed, drained Safeway 1 lb For $3.99 thru 02/09
- 1 qt. bananas, sliced
- Add hot water to gelatin; stir until gelatin is completely dissolved.
- Refrigerate 2 hours or until slightly thickened.
- Pour gelatin into 20-qt.
- bowl of electric mixer fitted with wire whisk attachment (or into a 12-qt.
- bowl for trial recipe).
- Add whipped topping; beat on low speed just until blended.
- Fold in strawberries and bananas.
- Portion 1/2 cup of the fruit mixture into each of 64 dessert dishes (or 32 dishes for trial recipe).
- Refrigerate several hours or overnight until firm.
- Garnish each serving with a dollop of additional prepared DREAM WHIP Whipped Topping just before serving, if desired.
