Roast Meat and Gravy

  1. Meat:.
  2. Place the meat in a crock pot.
  3. Add the onions.
  4. Sprinkle onion soup mix over the top.
  5. Put on the lid and cook on low for 10 hours.
  6. The meat will become very very tender.
  7. Gravy:.
  8. Once the meat is cooked, spoon out the juice into a separate bowl.
  9. The amounts given are for 2-3 cups of juice, but if you have more, then increase the amounts as needed.
  10. Skim the fat off the top of the juice.
  11. In another bowl, mix cornstarch with cold water and let it dissolve.
  12. Stir the reserved juice in a pot, heating it.
  13. Slowly add the cornstarch and water to the pot while stirring constantly.
  14. Cook until thickened at med heat.
  15. It will start to bubble after 5 min, which means it's ready.
  16. To Serve:.
  17. Remove meat from pot and place on serving platter.
  18. Put the gravy in gravy boat or on top of the meat and serve.
