John's Lasagna

  1. For meat sauce: Fry ground beef, onions, and celery until lightly brown.
  2. Stir in marinara sauce and mushrooms.
  3. To assemble: put a small amount of meat sauce in a 9X13 inch baking pan.
  4. Top with 4 lasagna noodles.
  5. Add 1/3 of remaining meat sauce.
  6. top with 1/3 c of cheddar and 1/3 c of mozzerella cheeses and 1/4 c romano cheese.
  7. top with 4 additional noodles, then repeat layers, ending with the meat sauce.
  8. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cheddar and 1/2mozzerella cheese and 1/4 c of romano cheese over lasagna.
  9. Bake , uncovered, for 60 minutes at 350 degrees.
  10. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
  11. To freeze: Bake, cool, wrap well, and label.
  12. freeze up to 2 months.
  13. to serve, defrost overnight and then bake until warmed through, or bake from frozen for 1 hour and a half.
