Gb's Breakfast Casserole
- 4 eggs
- 3 cups 1% low-fat milk
- 12 slices pepperidge farm original bread
- 1 tablespoon margarine
- 1 dash salt and pepper
- 1 lb ground sausage
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- Grease 9 x 13.
- Butter 6 pieces bread and lay face up in pan.
- Cover with 1/2 the cooked/crumbled sausage.
- Top with 1/2 cheese.
- Repeat layer again with bread/sausage/cheese.
- Mix eggs and milk and salt/pepper together.
- Pour on top of pan.
- WIth Spatula press down and soak all the bread/toppings.
- Bake 1 hour at 350 uncovered.
- Can be assembled the night before and baked the next morning.
