Sausage And Cheese Turnovers
- 1 (10 oz.) can large biscuits
- 1/2 lb. browned and drained Italian sausage
- 1/4 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
- 1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 to 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- Grease a cookie sheet.
- Separate dough into 10 biscuits.
- Press or roll to a 5-inch circle.
- Combine browned sausage, seasoning, mushrooms and Mozzarella cheese. Spoon about 3 tablespoons mixture into center of each flattened biscuit.
- Fold dough in half over filling.
- Press edges with a fork to seal.
- Brush tops with egg and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Place on a cookie sheet and bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
