Shrimp with Roasted Garlic Alfredo Sauce
- 1/2 lb. (225 g) fettuccine, uncooked
- 1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 1 lb. (450 g) uncooked large shrimp, peeled, deveined
- 1/3 cup dry white wine
- 1 jar (410 mL) Classico Alfredo di Sorrento Alfredo & Roasted Garlic Pasta Sauce
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
- 1/2 cup blanched chopped asparagus
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- Cook pasta as directed on package, omitting salt.
- Meanwhile, heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat.
- Add shrimp; cook 2 to 3 min.
- or just until shrimp turn pink, stirring frequently.
- Add wine; cook 2 min., stirring frequently.
- Stir in pasta sauce, peas and asparagus; cook 3 to 5 min.
- or until heated through, stirring occasionally and adding basil for the last 30 sec.
- Drain pasta.
- Serve topped with pasta sauce mixture.
