Crumble Pancake Streussel

  1. Prepare the crumbs by combing the flour, sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
  2. Once well mixed, mix in the butter and mix thoroughly.
  3. The mixture should remain powdered and shouldn't stick together like a dough.
  4. Set aside.
  5. Prepare the pancake batter by mixing together the pancake mix and water.
  6. Add a dash of cinnamon if desired.
  7. (If you want to make your pancakes from scratch, all the better!)
  8. Heat you pan in low heat.
  9. Butter it up.
  10. Cook pancakes by adding 1 tbsp crumbs on the pan, then quickly drop 2 tbsps of the pancake batter.
  11. When it starts to bubble, top with 1 tbsp of crumbs and flip over.
  12. Remove from heat once the pancake is cooked.
  13. NOTE: do this quickly and in low heat as it can easily burn!
  14. After flipping it over, add more crumbs if desired.
  15. Repeat steps 5 and 6 for all pancakes.
  16. Serve with desired syrup!
  17. Enjoy!
