Mini Cheeseburger Puffs

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Combine the first 5 ingredients.
  3. Hand-form patty to 1/4 normal burger size, about 2-inches in diameter.
  4. In a grooved black skillet, cook burgers to medium.
  5. Turn once.
  6. Do not overcook.
  7. Roll out thawed puff pastry.
  8. Cut 10 (6-inch) even panels.
  9. Place burger in center of square and top with 2 slices of cheese.
  10. Fold edges up and twist on top.
  11. Bake 20 to 25 minutes and serve warm.
  12. * Paula Deen Silly Salt is a blend of salt, dehydrated onion and garlic, spices, soybean oil, and lemon flavor.
  13. Cook's Notes:
  14. -Try serving with bacon or tomatoes.
  15. -Havarti and ground pepper boursin cheeses are good substitutes for cheddar.
