Buttered Carrots with Granola

  1. Cover carrots with cold water.
  2. Boil until carrots brighten in color, approximately ten minutes.
  3. Drain.
  4. Melt butter slowly in a saute pan.
  5. Add carrots and half the granola.
  6. Toss.
  7. Add brown sugar and honey.
  8. Toss.
  9. Garnish with crunchy granola for contrast in texture.
  10. Variations; Almonds, walnuts, hazelnut, pecan, maple, citrus zest, dried fruits
