Pineapple Vanilla Parfait

  1. Prepare cake batter as directed on package; pour into 1 full sheet pan (or 1/4 pan for trial recipe).
  2. Bake as directed on package.
  3. Cool in pan on wire rack.
  4. Cut cake layer into circles.
  5. (See TIP below.)
  6. Add pineapple to pudding; stir gently until well blended.
  7. For each serving: Spoon 1/2 cup of the pudding mixture into parfait glass; cover with 1 cake circle and additional 1/4 cup pudding mixture.
  8. Top with 1/4 cup of the whipped topping.
  9. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
