Fruitcake Squares

  1. Stir together cereal, flour and baking powder.
  2. Add fruits, mixing until well combined.
  3. Set aside.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, beat eggs until foamy.
  5. Gradually beat in sugar.
  6. Stir in fruit mixture and nuts.
  7. Pour mixture into a 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan coated with cooking spray (or use pan release recipe #78579).
  8. Press lightly to distribute fruits evenly.
  9. Bake at 300 degrees Fahrenheit for about 50 minutes or until wooden pick inserted near center comes out clean.
  10. Cool completely.
  11. Cut into 1-1/2 inch squares.
  12. Decorate with additional fruits and nuts, if desired.
  13. Store in airtight container.
