Frankfurters Dutch Treat
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 pkg. Kraft sour cream sauce mix
- 1/2 c. salad dressing
- 1/2 c. grated carrot
- 2 c. egg noodles
- 1/2 c. milk
- dash of Worcestershire sauce
- Cook
- onion
- and
- pepper
- in
- margarine
- until
- tender. Prepare sauce mix as directed, except use 1/2 cup milk.
- Blend in 1/2
- cup
- salad
- dressing and dash of Worcestershire sauce. Combine onion,
- pepper
- and salad dressing mixture with grated carrot
- and cooked noodles;
- mix
- lightly.
- Line
- sides
- of
- a 1 1/2-quart casserole with
- split lengthwise frankfurters, cut in half.
- Spoon noodle mixture into center of casserole.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
- Makes 4 servings.
