Chicken Quiche Recipe
- 1 (9 inch) unbaked pastry shell
- 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
- 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 1 tbsp. chicken flavor instant bouillon
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 3 Large eggs, well beaten
- 1/4 c. minced onion
- 2 tbsp. minced green pepper
- 2 tbsp. minced pimento
- Canned French fried onions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Bake pastry shell for 8 min, remove from oven.
- Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees.
- In medium bowl, toss cheeses with flour and bouillon; add in remaining ingredients.
- Mix well.
- Pour into prepared shell.
- Bake 40-45 min or possibly till set.
- Top with French fried onions during last 5 min.
- Let stand 10 min before serving.
- Chill left overs.
- Serves 4-6.
