Creamed Chicken
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 12 cup chicken broth
- 1 12 cups cream of mushroom soup
- salt, to taste
- 1 dash ground black pepper
- 2 cups diced cooked chicken
- 2 hard-boiled eggs, diced
- Melt butter in heavy skillet.
- Whisk in flour and cook 1-2 minutes, until the raw taste is cooked out, but it is not brown.
- Add broth while continuing to whisk, to form a thick sauce.
- Add cream of mushroom soup and blend thoroughly.
- Add salt, pepper, chicken and eggs, and heat through.
