Sausage Gravy and Biscuits

  1. Preheat oven.
  2. Bake biscuits according to package.
  3. Brown sausage in heavy pan; crumble as it cooks.
  4. If needed, add butter when brown.
  5. Sprinkle flour on, mix well.
  6. Slowly add milk, more or less as needed.
  7. Bring to a low slow boil stirring constantly (it will thicken as it cooks).
  8. Split biscuits in half and pour gravy over.
