Creamy Chicken Penne

  1. Cook pasta as directed on package.
  2. Meanwhile, cook chicken and onions in hot oil in large skillet on medium heat 6 to 8 min.
  3. or until chicken is done, stirring frequently.
  4. Add peas, peppers and garlic; cook and stir 1 min.
  5. Remove from heat; cover to keep warm.
  6. Melt butter in medium saucepan on medium heat.
  7. Stir in flour until well blended.
  8. Gradually stir in milk.
  9. Bring to boil; cook 2 min.
  10. or until thickened, stirring constantly.
  11. Add cream cheese and Romano; cook 1 to 2 min.
  12. or until cream cheese is completely melted and sauce is well blended, stirring constantly.
  13. Drain pasta; place in large bowl.
  14. Add chicken mixture and sauce; toss to coat.
  15. Top with parsley.
