Papaya Salad
- 1 small Papaya
- 1 head Shallot
- 2 small Chilli
- 1 each Lime/lemon
- 1 tbsp Fish sauce
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 2 small Tomato
- 1 Long beans
- 1 tsp Crushed roasted peanuts
- Peel papaya and wash. Scrape the flesh and set aside.
- Can also use papaya and carrots together.
- Mix liquid together (lime juice and fish sauce) and add sugar.
- Use a big mortar and pestel, pound the papaya flesh for about 10secs.
- Add the remaining dry ingredients except for the crushed peanuts and pound for further 10secs.
- Add the juice and mix well, garnish with crushed peanut on top.
- Adjust the sweetness and sourness to your liking.
- Enjoy!
