Old Fashioned Lemon Chess Pie
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 teaspoons cornmeal or flour
- 2 each lemons juice of
- 4 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons butter melted
- Mix flour and sugar, then add lemon juice and melted butter.
- Beat in eggs one at a time.
- Pour into a crust and bake at 300F (150C) for about one hour, or until the mixture begins to set and turns golden brown.
- Add more lemon juice if you like the taste.
